A creative brief is a statement that explains what you want, how you want it done, what it will look like, and ideally how you work on it.

Ofsted proposal
I propose to take the role as a Video Editor for Ofsted. I have been reading their brief and discovered that they propose to make three 5 minute webisodes that helps explore a learner’s life through further education. It is called The Magical Journey Through Further Education.
Inspired by the brief, I looked at Ofsted's official website. I found out that they inspect and regulate services that look after children and young people. They also offer education and skills for learners of all ages. They are currently seeking to commission three short documentary films on their website.
I am also confident in filming with a camera. As the websiodes will be aimed at teenagers aged 14-15, I can interview them on camera so the audience will get that they are looking forward to future education and people will understand their thoughts and feelings about the experience. I can add the filmed shots together to make one 5-minute long episode.
I have been video editing for six years. I have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut and Windows Movie Maker. I had work experience as a trainee videographer. It was at The Recycler. I was creating videos there with Final Cut which can be used on a Mac.
